Last March 8th, International Women’s Day, the Executive Secretary of the United Nations thought their UN SDG Action Campaign celebrated those who are fighting for gender equality around the world, which is one of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The UN SDG Action Campaign marks Nosotras Women Connecting like one of the TOP TEN initiatives to be shared and replicated globally, next to projects in Mexico, India, Pakistan, Brazil, among others.
Nosotras Women Connecting has been working from Costa Rica with women from Latin America, for the last three years. This year the initiative has decided to go beyond their frontiers by making happening the Kenyan Mission.
Nosotras Women Connecting will celebrate its 5th Edition in Kisumu, Kenya, inspiring girls and women in order for them to bring the solutions society need to be a more inclusive world.
